A word from Judy Ellis:                                                                          

The class is composed of a diverse group of ladies without respect to age or marital status.  Group members are in the process of overcoming life's obstacles or are already truly Overcomers.  Topical studies are presented and woven into daily life to enhance the members' walk with the Lord and to encourage them to flourish even in tumultuous times. 

Having adopted the creed, "Caring is Sharing" the Overcomers' Class fostered a serviceman in Iraq, provided him with necessities and some "creature comforts".  The group also provides meals and support to their own when illness or adversity prevails.  These gentle members are always reaching out and receptive to new members, especially those who need a hand to uphold them.
