Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. For close to 140 years God has richly blessed our church and allowed us to have a significant role in the spiritual growth of our surrounding community.  We are one of the oldest churches in Gwinnett County, but don’t let our age fool you. We have an excitement for serving Christ, a desire to minister to the needs of families and individuals, along with a hunger to share the uplifting message of the Savior.

WHAT TO EXPECT

On Sundays, as you enter the main auditorium building, you can expect to be warmly welcomed by our greeters in the foyer as well as by many of our members.  If you arrive for our Sunday school hour, you will be directed to one of our classes outlined in the ministry section of the site.  Each class is focused toward specific ages and stages of life.  Our classes are held in various buildings on our campus (Main Sanctuary, New Life Center, Education Building, & Gymnasium).

During our main worship service on Sundays, we have a focus on worshipping God through prayer, praise, singing, and the preaching of His Word.  The music is a mixture of congregational, choir, and specials by our members.  Songs are a blend of contemporary choruses and timeless hymns.

We are blessed with a pastor that boldly and lovingly preaches the "whole counsel" of the Word of God.  And at the conclusion of each worship service there is a time of prayer and an opportunity for those in attendance to commit their life to Christ or to commit to follow Him more closely. 

We have multiple classes for children during the Sunday school hour and during the main Worship Service.  These classes are fun and focused upon teaching basic Bible principles to our children. 

MID-WEEK SERVICE

The midweek service on Wednesday evenings is a time of prayer and in-depth study of the Bible.  Mark Davis, our associate pastor, leads us in this wonderful time of learning from God's word.
